Sesión organizada en el marco del Octubre urbano, bajo el liderazgo del Consejo político de CGLU sobre oportunidades para todos, cultura y diplomacia de las ciudades: claves para el desarrollo sostenible y la paz.
🎯 Descripción: El Consejo político sobre oportunidades para todos, cultura y diplomacia de las ciudades aborda, además de los temas titulares, aspectos como la transparencia y el desarrollo económico local. A partir de las reuniones celebradas en 2021, la reunión del Consejo político en el marco del Octubre urbano planteará acciones clave como conectar de manera más sólida las agendas de la paz y la igualdad; explorar el futuro del trabajo y los retos de la transición ecológica, y reivindicar el reconocimiento de la cultura como esencial en la construcción de un futuro mejor e indispensable para garantizar el desarrollo sostenible y la paz.

Session organized in the framework of Urban October, under the leadership of the UCLG Policy Council on Opportunies for All, Culture and City Diplomacy: Keys to Sustainable Development and Peace.
🎯 Description: The Policy Council on Opportunities for All, Culture and City Diplomacy addresses, apart from the titular issues, roles such as transparency and local economic development. Building on the meetings in 2021, the meeting of the Policy Council in the framework of Urban October will introduce critical topics such as connecting in a stronger manner the peace and the equality agendas; exploring the future of work and the challenges of the ecological transition, and calling for culture to be acknowledged as essential in building back better and indispensable to ensure sustainable development and peace.
