◼️ POLICY DEBATE ◼️
📍 Room: Kubadabad Balo Salonu | 💬 Interpretation: English - French - Spanish - Turkish - Chinese - Russian
️🎯 Description:
The Policy Debate on the “Right to the City: Reclaiming the Commons” is a space to see beyond the public and private compartments and think in common. Our Constituency and its allies are invited to consider and debate on the commons as the new essentials in policy making (innovative public services), and as the way we co-create with communities.
Participants are encouraged to take a step towards reclaiming the commons in order to find solutions to effectively protect and manage the commons together. Among the commons that will be the subject of discussions are housing, universal health coverage, accessibility, education, decent work, digital inclusivity, the right to food and water, and food systems. While aiming to build stronger partnerships and design tailor-made solutions for reclaiming the commons, Human Rights and Culture must be upheld as the backbone of the debate.
