🎯 Description:
The first online session of the 2024 VLR-VSR Days aims to raise awareness about the importance of connecting VNRs, VLRs, and VSRs to accelerate and sustain action over time, and explore viable pathways to make it possible. By addressing the current challenges to coherent and coordinated efforts, the session will identify transformative reporting and policy solutions that are applicable to achieving the 2030 Agenda and other policy goals. Participants will gain inspiration from innovative practices led by LRGs and LGAs through their VLRs and VSRs respectively, in collaboration with national governments. These case studies will illustrate how integrated reporting processes can strengthen progress assessments and promote joint efforts towards achieving the SDGs, including a better understanding and use of local findings in both local and national action, and strengthened strategies, resources and capacities for local action.
