The turno is a festivity that dates back many years, which occurs only in the countryside of Costa Rica, to celebrate the Patron Saint or founding date of a community, where the townspeople prepare the typical food of their areas, which are sold for the benefit of community works. There is music, dances and masquerades that give a very typical and festive atmosphere.
