Building bridges: From vision to collective action

As the global realities we face as humanity urge us to accelerate and address the renewal of policies at unison, UCLG has been mandated to drive the will and hopes of local and regional leaders to unfold the Pact for the Future as a contribution to the UN Summit of the Future and beyond.

In this foundational moment, no single actor or sphere of government can bring change alone. Cities, territories and their networks, as key political actors in the multilateral system, are embracing their transformational and convening power, building high-impact partnerships and fostering collective thinking together with civil society around the structure and scope of the four enablers of the Pact for the Future: Commons, Finance, Trust and Governance architecture.
